ALUMINIUM

Aluminium is a strong material. This strength allows more slender frames than uPVC as the material is able to weight bear more effectively. Some people prefer the look of aluminium and it may suit older houses better than uPVC, particularly in houses with old stone mullion windows.

Aluminium has the same benefits as uPVC (see our page about uPVC) and also carries a 10 year guarantee. It comes in a range of colours and is covered in a very hard wearing powder coated paint. Popular colours include white, black, brown, dark green and wood grain veneer finish, but any colour can be arranged!
